Antioch Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, Spirit-directed community, dedicated to worshipping God, making Jesus followers, encouraging the downtrodden, and seeking peace and justice in places near and far.

Organized in 1834, Antioch Baptist Church continues to strive to fulfill its original mission to live as "one body under one head, jointly to live and act as a church, according to the spirit and precepts of the Gospel of Jesus Christ."  The forefathers and mothers of Antioch committed themselves to "watch over, pray for, and assist each other in any way... to the praise and glory of God, abounding in the grace of Christ Jesus."  Today, those who regularly gather at Antioch seek to continue this mission by being an open and accepting community seeking to do the work of grace and justice in a hurting and dying world.
